On Monday, March 28, 2011 at approximately 7:48 p.m., Virginia Beach Police and Emergency Medical Services were called to a report of a shooting in a parking lot of 5612 Princess Anne Road. Officers arrived to find one victim suffering from a single gunshot wound. The victim was transported to Norfolk General Hospital and underwent surgery, his injuries are considered serious.

On 3/25/11 at 1230hrs, the below listed suspect passed a handwritten note to the teller implying he had a weapon, and demanding money. The victim placed the money in a small, brown colored zipper bag similar to a makeup bag, or bank bag, that the suspect produced. After obtaining money, the suspect fled.
